Neural Circuits for Learning and Memory

Yale University, School of Medicine

Organization and representation of memories

Our goal is to find a mechanistic explanation for how experiences of our everyday life are learned, stored, and utilized by the brain to guide our future behaviors. To this aim, the lab employs and develops state-of-the-art techniques, including in vivo functional imaging and electrophysiological recordings, pharmacological and optogenetic interventions, as well as molecular tools for accessing and identifying specific neuron types.

We are affiliated with the Department of Neuroscience, the Wu Tsai Institute, and are located in the newly opened building at 100 College Street. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you are interested in joining our team!

We are always open to graduate students currently enrolled in one of Yale’s graduate programs and wanting to rotate in the lab.
